My family loves the salsa from Carlos O'Kelly's. This is as close as I can come and it is delicious! You can add anything to this salsa, we've added different peppers or more garlic. It's always good.
Ingredients | Tomato Pappu Recipe Andhra Style4 large tomatoes, quartered and grated4 scallions (green onions), chopped1 clove garlic, pressed2 slices canned jalapeno pepper, finely chopped½ lime, juiced2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro, or to taste¼ teaspoon onion saltsalt to tasteDirectionsMix tomatoes, scallions, garlic, and jalapeno pepper together in a bowl. Drizzle lime juice over mixture and add cilantro, onion salt, and salt; mix well.This salsa will be much better the next day. If you refrigerate overnight, it will bring out the flavors.If you don't like spicy salsa, don't even use 2 sliced jalapenos.
